| An absolute staple. No matter what side of the counter you're on, the coffee shop is the absolute center of your life. Whether you're a barista, or just camped out in the corner with the good outlet while you write your novel. Perhaps you just really want to tell the cute person behind the counter that you've loved them since they gave you that coffee six months ago. Or you're overwhelmed with orders and nothing is going right. For good or bad, everyone needs their caffiene. ♨ Post a top level with your character and canon. Include any preferences you may have. [Earth missions would be so much more difficult.]
...Do all angels here have to occupy humans to be corporeal? Or just the ones working in the field long-term? Without their help, would your physical forms just look inhuman, or not exist at all?

[Speaking from all kinds of experience, here.]
Unfortunately, we all have to take human form in order to walk on Earth. Our true forms are rather overwhelming to humans. I once blinded a woman by showing her my true form.

[Aziraphale reaches for his coffee without looking away.]
We do have space aliens and people from Atlantis, now, but they're all very peaceful. Other than that, it's just normal humans. And witches. Ghosts, but they don't bother anyone. Maybe an occasional psychic?

We don't have aliens or people from Atlantis. They sound fascinating, though. We have witches, ghosts, demons, vampires, werewolves, wendigos, and various gods, among others. You can't shake a stick without hitting something supernatural around here.
I don't know if we still have any dragons left or if they went back to Purgatory but at one point, we did.

[As chaotic as this Earth seemed to be, they did have very respectable coffee. Aziraphale's was now the perfect temperature and he drank a good swallow of it.]
If your body is human, where do you tuck your wings?

[Cas nearly forgot about his tea. He takes a long sip of the stuff, which has now gone slightly lukewarm. Ah, well.]
Behind me. They're only visible to humans when I allow them to see. They look like shadows to people, when I do have them out.
What about you? Where do you tuck your wings?

[Aziraphale glances over his shoulder as if he's never really thought about it before.]
I suppose there isn't nearly enough room for them in there, but somehow it works anyway.
[Now he glances over Castiel's shoulder.]
Isn't that dreadfully inconvenient? Humans live in such short, narrow spaces. How do you avoid knocking things over and humans bumping into them?
no subject
[Castiel offers him a wry smile in response.]
Practice. And living with two humans who tend to knock many things over tends to provide ample opportunity to learn how not to bump into things and knock over irreplaceable artifacts.
It's...something of a learning experience.

[He smiles ruefully back.]
Maybe too convenient. Mine molt feathers like anything. I haven't bothered pulling them out for over a century now. If I ever do, I shudder to imagine the mess I'd make in the process. It would look like, oh... two giants had a pillow fight and it was the pillows that lost.

We don't have a molting problem, thankfully. But I will admit that must be quite the sight to see.
It is always interesting, regardless, learning of how the mechanics in other worlds work.

[Angel humor. A weak attempt at it, too.]

Yes, he is quite the artist, what with all of the "divine inspiration" he possesses.
