[Some may remember him as one of the youngest members of the group -or Clan- of techs that kept things running around Peach Trees.
More will remember him as the voice of Peach Trees information under the reign of Ma Ma Madrigal and her clan.
But these days most people will know him just as the nervous young man with the augmented eyes, the one who has all the information, for the right price.
(Totally open to whatever sort of plot, if you just need to know something that's great, but getting him sucked into something over his head again is also great!)]

[She's got her own channel, she always has had, one of the pretty talking heads that the government employs to keep the people watching and happy -but not too happy- and entertained and more importantly, consumers. There's always a new beauty product or a new gadget that her followers just have to have, because she has it.
But as much as she likes the accolades and the adoration, she actually wants what's best for her fans, and that's the kind of thing that gets a star cancelled.
(Down for someone trying to rescue her before she can be cancelled, or her falling in with some anti-government group and passing along information, hell, we can even throw in a 'magic is real' aspect because why the heck not?)]

[Ivar was son of one of the most prominent weapons manufacturers the world over. He always seemed to be just five minutes away from getting caught breaking the law, yet miraculously always stayed out of jail. That's what money and connections would do for you. The front he put on was a respectable teenage prodigy set to take over his father's company when he stepped down. In truth, Ivar had a hand in just about anything illegal going on in the city, a complicated operation hiding in the shadows.

When Margo gets back to her dressing room, he's already waiting there, the high-tech leg braces he has to wear in order to be able to walk at all winking their red and green lights intermittently.]

[There was an ambiguous-sounding accent to his voice, something that said he'd been born overseas, but it was harder to place any more specifically then Northern Europe. Ivar took out a pack of cigarettes and lit one, not even bothering with good manners to ask if she'd mind. He had ice-blue eyes that could either be innocently angelic or light up with the devil's malice.]

"Yes." She agreed, apparently unsurprised at his presence. But then, that was part of why she was good at what she did, if she acted like she knew what was going on, and everything was as it should be, it kept everyone calm and reduced the potential danger. She knew of him, the same way many people did, but hadn't exactly expected to meet him, and definitely not like this.

"That's by design, as I understand." Mostly because as a rule the talking heads like herself were only ever known by their social handles, even to each other -of course, there were always exceptions to the rule- and most everyone only knew her as Bambi The Royalest and she was waiting to see how he addressed her, if he was going to, "Which makes me think this little meet and greet wasn't actually cleared with my publicist." She hadn't yet reached for the patch on her makeup table to cover her augmented eye, which theoretically meant it was still recording, possibly even streaming.

[She lives in the wasteland or the ruins or whatever the local city calls the uninhabited zones outside of the city's protection. She lives on the very edge of what's actually habitable and she might in fact be crazy.
But better crazy than bl/IND being a good little drone under the city's control. But if someone needs a rescue, a detox, or a getaway driver for a raid, she'll be there.

[It's no Ratz's Tavern, but Eliot's food truck is pretty well known, and not just because of Eliot himself -though that's part of it- and not just because both of his assistants are attractive -though that's part of it- but because he's got a reputation for a damn fine grilled cheese, and for being able to help with any problem.]

[Rorschach was a private detective who seemed to always have a case despite living in the worst part of the town. What his real identity was no one knew, for he hid his face behind a mask with tech that not even the biggest eggheads could figure out how it worked. Despite his gruff and prickly personality, he had a soft spot for hopeless causes and downtrodden people.

He was in the middle of a case right now, something involving a string of missing hackers, and had stopped by for some food. It was pouring rain, but he seemed unaffected despite the water soaking through his fedora, mask, and leather trench coat. Eliot sometimes heard things that he didn't, and besides, the food was delicious.]

They'd been getting ready to pack up for the night, or at least move to another street, one that would be busier when the bars let out, but then there was a customer, and the closest thing they had to a regular.

Eliot just nodded once, flicking a brief salute with a spatula before getting to work. Some people came for the show as much as for the food, because Eliot in particular was fluidly ambidextrous, switching tools and ingredients from one hand to the other as needed, and between him and his assistants -who always seemed to know what he needed where- it was like some combination of well-rehearsed dance and old-time hibachi chef.

But a single sandwich, even one with avocado, was an easy enough task that Eliot could handle it himself, and it was only moments before it was on the flat top, and maybe five minutes total before it was flipped onto a plate, deftly sliced and set in front of Rorschach, "If you've got something I haven't heard yet, it's on the house."

Leia always liked the students best, perhaps because that was where her own start had been, and because they used many of the same warrens and corners and places where the cameras never quite reached. Tactics had gotten more advanced as the city -and even private- security had increased, but that hadn't ever stopped her from showing up at a meeting now and again, mostly because for a time things had been good, the old regime had fallen, new leaders had been elected in their place and changes had been made.

But that had been thirty years ago and many of her compatriots had fallen into complacency and so things had been going bad again for a few years.

This lot, she felt, might actually have a chance, which was why she'd arrived with the rest of them filtering in, even though most of them seemed young enough to be her own children, and had settled in to listen.

The joint between Kotomi's pelvis and leg hissed, before her metallic leg snapped off by the pelvis. Kotomi tried to keep her balance as she carefully pulled the artificial limb from its metallic socket, then leaned forward to clean and fix the entry plugs that had made movement a little difficult.

Kotomi was indeed part of the richer classes, and it was clear by all four limbs, titanium spine, silicone skin, and smooth face and smooth artificial hair weave that enveloped her whole body. She was not an android or an A.I., mind. After your original body is rendered unlivable, and your brain and all of your internal organs are migrated into an artificial body, it still counts as you, as it's everything on the inside.

Right?

Everything had to be in order before meeting Shuri, a representative of the Outreach, and Kotomi was afraid said leg would stutter or turn defective mid-walk, which was why she tried correcting the slightest error in her movements before meeting her. She did want to work on that better world, using her bright mind of hers to improve things...
