It's the battle as old as time itself, the ultimate symbol of good versus evil. The warriors of heaven in their righteous protection of innocent souls, and the denizens of hell who would tempt them to terrible deeds. Or maybe it's all the same side and they're each just wardens of various souls without a care for what humanity does. No matter your interpretation, there's always tension when human ideas get thrown into the mix. ♱ Post a top level with your character and canon. Include any preferences you may have. [Ivar had been silently watching Wanda for quite some time now. Most of her life in fact, though it went by in the eyeblink for someone who was as old as time itself. He'd been an angel once, beautiful, sweet, and innocent. Then he fell with Lucifer, never regretting his choice for an instant. Since then, he'd whispered into many ears over the years, causing destruction, pain, and death wherever he went.

This girl had immense power inside of her and such wonderful potential. Oh, if he could just get her to harness that power in the right direction, she could burn down the entire world in her rage. And then-- well, then Ivar would simply dance around in the ashes at a job well done.

She had raw wounds inside of her, things which had never healed properly when everything had slowly been taken from her over time. Her parents, her twin brother, her lover, all now dead. There was no better time to approach her.

He came in the guise of a boy in his late teens, ice blue eyes guileless and harmless-looking. The picture was completed by the fact he couldn't walk properly, having to use leg braces to get around. That part wasn't an affect. The angels had cursed him with them for his defiance and delight in slaughtering them before they had cast him out. It began at a coffee shop. She was sitting in a corner looking completely unobtrusive. The place was crowded and her's was the only empty spot left at any of the tables. He limped over to her.]
